ABOUT
Kits for Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of women and children in need through kits filled with necessities, including hygiene products, gently used clothing, etc. Kits for Hope was founded at Ursuline Academy of Dallas in 2022 by Mary Peterson and her peers, becoming the largest club in the school's history.
Mary Peterson, Founder
An Ursuline Academy of Dallas graduate, Mary Peterson founded Kits for Hope as a way to live out Serviam beyond the classroom. Guided by faith and a heart for service, she’s helped grow the project from a small kit drive into a movement of young women giving back across DFW. Whether she’s organizing donations or writing notes of encouragement, Mary leads with empathy, action, and a deep commitment to making girls feel seen and supported.
